*Only individuals in their first year at the University of Maryland are eligible to apply for Transfer and Freshman Representative. Only transfer students may apply for the Transfer Representative position.
**The legislative secretary has different and fewer responsibilities from representatives. This is a great way to get involved in a limited capacity and learn more about the Student Government Association legislature while being a part of legislative leadership team. Responsibilities include taking minutes of Legislative meetings, assisting with polling, and sending out a media scan to the SGA throughout the week. Must be available Wednesday evenings starting at 6:00pm. Time commitment: approximately 3 hours per week.
